Phat Clothes, Food, and Guns

Aparently “Mickey D's wants to make workers phat” --- so McDonland’s has asked some people like “fashion moguls Russell Simmons, P. Diddy and Tommy Hilfiger” and also “American Eagle Outfitters and Abercrombie & Fitch, as well as fashion brands American Apparel, Fubu and Rocawear.”

But here is the best part:
The idea is to turn employees into walking brand billboards as they circulate among their peers, the report said.
So … these uniforms are going to be so cool, that people are going to want to wear them --- even while not at work?

Speaking of food:
French President Jacques Chirac is reported to have cracked jokes about British food at a meeting with the German and Russian leaders. French newspaper Liberation says Gerhard Schroeder and Vladimir Putin laughed and joined in the banter. “One cannot trust people whose cuisine is so bad. The only thing they have ever done for European agriculture is mad cow disease,” Mr Chirac said, according to the newspaper's report.
Based on Chirac’s Logic, my list of countries to not trust would be: Germany, France, Japan, England, Portugal and Spain. However my list of countries to trust would be: China, Thailand, India, Afghanistan, Iran, India, and Mexico. Hummm.

Speaking of Thailand:
School teachers in Thailand's troubled southern provinces will be allowed to carry guns, the government has said. The move is one of a series of measures designed to keep education staff from leaving the violence-hit south. Many of the region's teachers are thought to have either stopped working or demanded a transfer from the area.
Wow --- sounds like a plan.
